Ma Shu, born in Pingxing, Henan province, has long been committed to the reflection of the aesthetics and dispositions of Chinese Literati Furniture. He aims to represent a new style of living, inspired by ancient Chinese woodworking reinterpreted for our time. The furniture he has made originate from Dao and take on the forms of utensils, with a respect and admiration for the ancient craftsmen.
