Third Space
125 PROJECTS
Technospoonism imagines a future kamayan — the Filipino practice of eating communally by hand — as it might be
carried out in a technologically mediated, climate-altered world. A collection of speculative jewellery doubles as
tableware: cuffs become plates, rings become forks, pendants become vessels. The forms draw on batok, traditional
Philippine tattooing, but are removable and mutable, worn on the body rather than written into it. The three-channel
installation stages this as choreography — hands, vessels and the shared surface of the meal — across three vertical
screens.
125 PROJECTS is a curator-led platform in Manila. The gallery is dedicated to artistic practices shaped by collective realities, responsible modes of production, and long-term community engagements. Drawing on close collaboration with artists across the Philippines and the Asia Pacific region, 125 PROJECTS presents exhibitions, publications, fellowships, and public programs that support emerging and intergenerational artists working across disciplines.
Alongside its artistic program, 125 PROJECTS operates a fine art services arm offering art advisory, archiving, collections management, publication production, and conservation. These services act as practical scaffolding for artistic work over time, ensuring its care, continuity, and legacy beyond the exhibition cycle.

Bianca Carague
Bianca Carague is a Manila-based artist and designer known for creating sculptural objects, wearable artifacts and digital landscapes that are part of imagined worlds. Her practice spans speculative design, worldbuilding and design for wellbeing, drawing on Southeast Asian rituals and ecologies.
At its core, her work is guided by a philosophy that what we create is a mirror of ourselves, and in turn, we are reflections of our surroundings. For Bianca, worldbuilding starts with world-seeing — the belief that we “build worlds from the inside out.”
She moves between digital software and the workshop, working across game engines, 3D sculpting and printing, metal casting and laser cutting, largely self-taught in the tools her practice demands.
Bianca holds a Master’s in Social Design from Design Academy Eindhoven (2020) and has exhibited across Europe and Asia at Dutch Design Week, Milan Design Week, London Design Biennale, and Het Nieuwe Instituut. Her work has been recognized for its ability to bridge art and design with psychology and futures thinking.
