MOU PROJECTS is pleased to return to Asia NOW 2024 with a solo presentation of Miyeon Yi, titled Time pauses for the hesitant.

Presenting a most recent selection of paintings and mixed-media objects, Yi offers an intricate visual narrative with meaningful contemplation in the presentation, skillfully crafting scenes that probe the boundaries between the internal and the external, the personal and the performative. Engaging with the concept of time, her works display a careful selection of mediums and approaches to subjects, enabling her to construct peculiar spaces, stage theatrical encounters, and convey complex emotions within her artistic practice.
