At the occasion of Asia NOW 2024, the galerie Louis & Sack is presenting a solo show by Korean artist Seungsoo Baek (b.1979). After the success of his first group show in France in 2023, the Paris based artist is working on a new serie of works, that will be unveiled for the first time during Asia Now. The exhibition called ‘Silence’ is displaying unique works at the crossroads of painting and sculpture on canvas.
Seungsoo’s palet of color is always dark, often black. His artistic universe was formed in the light of abstract artists such as Pierre Soulages, Cy Twombly and Mark Rothko, as well as sculptors like Antony Gromeley and Gudmar Olovson.

In addition, selected works from special guest Daun Jeong (b. 1987) from Korea will be on display. Her “fabric drawings” are made by streching fabrics creating colorfull absract paintings like brush strokes,
