Galerie François Livinec will be presenting for Asia NOW 2024 a selection of works from iconic artists, from Bang Hai-Ja’s work with natural pigments to Jang Kwang Bum’s organic acrylics on canvas, but also Wei Ligang’s use of rice paper as a canvas, Hur Kyung-Ae’s abstraction and two Ge Ba artworks from anonymous artists.

In addition, the gallery will be presenting ten of the most iconic paintings of Shin Sung-Hy.conceived with the complicity of Baudoin Lebon and in echo with Shin’s exhibition at the 2024 Venice Biennale. Shin Sung-Hy’s work is a constant quest to transcend the fundamental principles of painting. He has been experimenting the limits of the canvas frame, culminating in the invention of his knotting method of weaving and knotting strips of painted canvas.
