Galerie A2Z presents a selection of nine of its artists whose varied artistic practices manage to depict and raise important issues concerning contemporary society. Bao Vuong, Shiori Eda, Takashi Hara, Danhôo, Tatsuhito Horikoshi, Aung Ko, Nge Lay, Le Thuy and Hoang Thanh Vinh Phong, at first glance have very different creative processes, but share a common vision of their times. Most of them are immigrants or expatriates living in France, and each of them draws on their Asian roots to decipher Western codes. They are, among other things, cultural mediators, visual storytellers who use their art to build bridges between cultures and illuminate the dark corners of intercultural understanding. Together, their works form a complex tapestry of perspectives and reflections, enabling viewers to better understand and appreciate the diversity and complexity of today's world. They manage to capture the essence of the society in which we live, and raise crucial questions about issues such as injustice, politics, the environment, identity and human rights.
